Culinary Services Director Marzieh has worked in our community for 15 years. Her passion for the senior industry is expressed through our Dining by Design program. Marzieh’s mother was diagnosis with Alzheimer’s in 2005. Marzieh personally cared for her, experienced the frustrations and joy during this journey. Food was one of the most important highlights of Marzieh’s mother’s day. Marzieh’s wanted to share her gift by joining our team with homemade cooking that are enjoyed by all our residents, staff, and families.

Barbara Rose, LVN

Barbara Rose, LVN

Assisted Living Director

Assisted Living Director Barbara brings more than 30 years of experience in caring for the needs of seniors to our Sagebrook Assisted Living and Memory Care Programs and to our residents. After graduating from Boise State University, Barbara started her career in the Senior Care Industry as a medication and treatment nurse. Her skilled nursing experience includes performing the functions of Quality Assurance Director, Director of Nursing, and Director of Staff Development, specializing in the care of those with dementia. Since 2000, Barbara shifted her focus from skilled nursing care to caring and overseeing the management of assisted living. Barbara prides herself on leading a team that not only provides for the needs of residents, but attends to the importance of family in the care process. Barbara and the Sagebrook medication management team have been recognized for their “stellar” medication management program. When not at work, Barbara enjoys cooking, researching family history and the company of her Goldendoodle Shasta, and family that includes three daughters, a son-in-law and two grandsons.

Michael Baker

Business Office Director

Business Office Director Michael joins the Sagebrook Carmichael team after a decade in the EMS field as a Controller, General Manager and Business Development. Mike and his wife have two children and are lifelong residents of Sacramento. After receiving his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, he started working as the Controller for a local ambulance company, managing patient billing, payroll and all financial aspects of the company. Soon after Michael completed his Master in Business Administration, he worked his way to become the General Manager of the same Ambulance Company he started at. In 2012, Michael felt a need to give back to the school district that he graduated from and that his kids now attend. He successfully ran for Trustee of the school board, won re-election and continues to sit on the board today. In his free time, Michael enjoys playing racquetball and golf.

Natalie C. McNeal

Director of Sales & Marketing

Director of Sales & Marketing Natalie C. McNeal has 26 years of corporate experience, with most of that time spent as a program and project manager. Natalie’s transition from the corporate environment to senior living stems from a passion she discovered while working as a medical device sales representative.

Outside of her professional career, Natalie has been married for 23 years and is the mother to three daughters. She is active at the high school two of her daughters attend and sits on the school site council board. Natalie enjoys attending as many cheerleading and track events as possible to support her children.

Jeffrey Dillon

Jeffrey Dillon

Executive Director

Executive Director Jeffrey Dillon has worked in the senior services industry for more than 30 years. He began his work in the US Congress as a staff member focusing on senior and Veterans issues and has also worked in the private sector in marketing and PR for pharmaceutical, insurance, hospitals and other senior product or service providers.

Jeffrey has vast experience in the field of senior housing as has worked all over the US in Senior Housing operations and marketing and has spent the past twelve years as licensed CA RCFE Executive Director.

He believes that “Purpose-Driven Lifestyle” is so important in the lives of seniors and he is constantly striving to introduce the concept into the fabric of the communities he manages.
